Is a signature added with this tool legally valid?
In most countries an electronic signature is legally recognised for everyday agreements
under laws such as the U.S. ESIGN Act and the EU eIDAS regulation. This tool creates a visible electronic
signature, which is what the vast majority of contracts, forms and consent documents require. It does not
apply a certificate-based cryptographic digital signature, so if a document specifically demands a qualified
or certificate-based signature, use a certificate authority service instead.
