Which file formats are supported?
We support Microsoft Word (.docx, .doc) and PowerPoint (.pptx, .ppt) files. The maximum
file size is 50MB. Excel files are not supported as they embed images differently.
What image formats will be extracted?
All embedded image types are extracted — JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP, TIFF, EMF, and WMF
(vector graphics). Each image retains its original format and quality.
Will the images be in full original quality?
Yes. Images are extracted directly from the document's internal ZIP structure, so they are
always in their original, unmodified quality — exactly as they were when inserted.
How are the extracted images named?
Images are named sequentially (image1.jpg, image2.png, etc.) in the ZIP archive. The order
follows the internal structure of the document file.
Is my document kept private?
Absolutely. All uploads use HTTPS encryption. Files are processed securely and
automatically deleted from our servers within 10 minutes. We never store or read your documents.
Do I need to create an account or sign up to use this tool?

mobile.
Can I extract images from Word or PowerPoint on iPhone or Android?
Yes! ToolTiny works entirely in your browser on any device — iPhone, Android, Windows, or Mac. No app or software installation is needed to extract images from DOCX or PPTX files online.
Can I extract all images from a Word document at once?
Yes. ToolTiny automatically extracts all embedded images from Word documents and packages them into a ZIP archive for easy download.
Can I export images from PowerPoint slides?
Yes. All pictures, graphics, screenshots, and photos embedded in PowerPoint presentations can be exported in their original quality.
Does the tool extract embedded images only?
Yes. The tool extracts images embedded inside DOCX and PPTX files. Linked external images that are not stored in the document cannot be extracted.
Can I extract graphics, charts, and screenshots from presentations?
Yes. Any embedded graphic stored as an image inside the presentation can be extracted, including charts, screenshots, diagrams, icons, and illustrations.
